Foot and mouth hits Trang cattle

TRANG (TNA) — Thailand’s southern province of Trang is facing an outbreak of foot and mouth disease in cattle.
The outbreak occured after a recent severe flooding in many areas of the province, according to local officials.

MoD still facing large overspends

The Ministry of Defence still faces big overspends, despite starting to bring procurement programmes under control, the National Audit Office has revealed.
It said it was unclear whether a fall in cost overruns last year marked the start of a sustained improvement in the MoD’s project management.
