Head Of State Appoints Team To Reorganise Logistics

Luanda, 01/07 - Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, ordered the setting up of a group to coordinate the restructuring of the system of logistics and distribution of basic goods to the population. This is contained in a recent edition of the State Gazette that reached ANGOP, appointing the Finance minister, José Pedro de Morais, to co-ordinate the commission.

The commission includes Manuel Vieira Dias Júnior, head of the Presidency Military Affairs Office, Augusto Archer Mangueira, economic assistant to the president, Manuel da Cruz Neto, deputy minister of Trade, António Gomes Furtado, economic assistant to the prime minister, Gomes Cardoso, national director of the Internal Commerce and representatives of the Ministries of Territory Administration, Transports and Social Communication.

The Co-ordination team has as its task to prepare and submit to the Cabinet Council the package of documents enabling the approval of the juridical and financial basis and organisation of the entities to be appointed, such as the Funds of Guarantee and the Society of Capitals of Risk.

Its is also tasked with drafting the basis and proceedings that will rule the creation, access and management of appropriated financial resources, towards the modernisation and expansion of the commercial network.

According to the presidential dispatch, other figures might be called into joining the commission, should their services prove necessary.
