5th rebuilding Iraq starts this Thursday

The January 2005 elections in Iraq marked a turning point in the country’s transition to a democratic, free-market system. On December 1-2, 2005, 11 months after Iraq’s first democratic elections and just over a year after the transfer of sovereignty from the Coalition Provisional Authority to the people of Iraq, New Fields Exhibitions will hold the 5th Rebuilding Iraq Conference in Washington DC.

The 5th Rebuilding Iraq Conference builds on New Fields’ successful track record of providing the premier events on the Iraqi reconstruction process. Since 1994, more than 150,000 corporate and government leaders from around the world have participated in New Fields events. Speakers at previous conferences in New Fields’ Rebuilding Iraq series included officials from:

* Coalition Provisional Authority
* U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
* U.S. Department of Commerce’s Iraq Reconstruction Task Force
* U.S. Export-Import Bank
